Rex Industries (Pvt) Ltd had its origin way back in the ye.ar 1977. The company emerged as a proprietorship concern in a low profile and gradually expanded to the present level and now it is a family-owned limited liability company. The main objective of the proprietor was to engage in providing engineering services to industrial enterprises. Initially the company was engaged in manufacturing spares for power looms. Upon identifying potential availability in other areas of the market the company diversified the range of services systematically and presently Rex Industries (Pvt) Ltd provides total solutions to the engineering needs of industrial enterprises.

Found back in 1977 with one employee, it now employs nearly 35employess including foreign qualified Engineers, using state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, providing high quality engineering sophisticated components, spares of machineries in the fields of agriculture, rubber, garments etc., and manufactures tailor made machineries on customer demand.

As I look back over the last 40 years since I found and established Rex Industries I feel very proud of being a part for the development of Industries in Sri Lanka, particularly in the field of manufacturing and providing engineering solutions to the industrial sector. Among the range of machineries manufactured by us and tailor-made to Customers requirements, the domestic oil expeller is an achievement wherein you could easily extract your own virgin coconut oil/or any ordinary oil for a better, healthier Life.
