Garcinia is a natural flavoring agent that is mostly grown in South Asia and SouthEast Asia. It is the Garcinia gummi-gutta species also known as brindle berry or Malabar tamarind. 

This berry skin is very thick and it has separated from the fruit inside marinated with its own fruit juices and smokey preserved with traditional method.

Garcinia has a sweet and sour fruity taste. It is a great flavouring substance for Asia curyy dishes. Specially very nice to balance the flavours in fish curries.
