Our Processing Facility

We owned our own Processing facility in our plantation, down south of Sri Lanka. We have all the facilities to required our workers to upheld the work environment and process with best quality. We maintain high quality process for the production and best hygienic practices which is vetted by ISO 22000:2005.

Processing of Cinnamon in our facility.

n our process peeling of bark from the stems and then the quills are rolled on a board to tighten the filling and then we do mechanical drying under carefully controlled conditions, because we have to maintain the correct moisture content as well as to preserve the volatiles of the cinnamon. We are the only one that uses this technology, this technology is developed by us with our experience for 15 years in the dryer industry. We possess highly skilled workers who process our Cinnamon and that is the secret of the premium quality of our cinnamon. In the grading process the quality of cinnamon is judged by the thickness of the bark, the appearance (broken or entire quills) and the aroma and flavour. We have the best grades as our main output due to our highly skilled workers and quality vetted processing system.
The harvest is not only from our land, we take it from other hormgarden and small holders, because they do not apply fertiliser or any other chemicals like commercial growers, so those cinnamons are naturally grown. Also they didn't have a price for their product before, because they didn't have the facility to process them. Now they have encouraged and grown it for their boundary fence too. Which helps and supports the community income as well.
